Do you have a Bexar County high school student? If so, they could win a $1000 scholarship for designing VIP Staffing’s Fiesta medal. Check out the details of the contest below.
VIP Staffing announced today the kickoff of their 5th annual fiesta medal design scholarship contest. Bexar County high school students are challenged with designing a fiesta medal incorporating VIP’s core values, displaying the VIP Staffing logo and following specified design parameters.
The first-place winner will receive a $1000 scholarship prize, second and third-place winners will win $300 and $200 scholarship prizes, respectively. The contest is open to all high school students in Bexar County, and entries will be judged by VIP Staffing customers, who will score the entries based on specific design criteria.
“The artistic talent demonstrated by our youth year after year is incredible. This is a great opportunity for others to see what future generations are building and we love seeing how engaged the students and teachers are in this process,” said President and CEO, Andrew Himoff.
“These kids are so deserving and it’s an honor to reward them for pursuing their passion, especially when it’s for such a celebrated city tradition like Fiesta.”
All entries are due to VIP Staffing by October 17, 2022, and should be sent digitally along with the student applications via email with a link to entries to abezner@vip-staffing.com. Acceptable platforms are Google Drive and Dropbox. If this is not preferred, a thumb drive with the entries and applications may be delivered to VIP Staffing at 8610 Broadway St, Ste 100, San Antonio, TX 78217.
