Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant 
Location: DFW Regional office, Rhome, Tx 

The Sr. Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing aspects of the day-to-day financial operations. This role will dually report to the VP-Finance (San Antonio HQ) and the President/COO (DFW Regional Office); working with the leadership team to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. Our organization is an authorized Texas dealer of construction equipment used in stabilization, reclamation, asphalt paving, roadway maintenance, concrete production & slip-forming. Operating continuously since 1946, with 3 generations of family leadership, with facilities in San Antonio, Austin, DFW and Houston.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Financial Management and Reporting: 
• Daily oversight of AR, AP, Inventory & Rental Fleet
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements 
• Assist in managing cash flow on a weekly basis. 
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Strategic Planning and Analysis 
 
Strategic Planning and Analysis
• Provide financial analysis for equipment acquisition decisions 
• Develop pricing strategies for rental and sales operations 
• Analyze profitability by product line, branch and customer segment 
• Support the leadership team with financial insights for strategic planning on a quarterly and annual basis. 
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario planning Internal Controls and Risk Management 

Internal Controls and Risk Management
• Implement and maintain robust internal control systems 
• Identify and mitigate financial risks specific to the equipment rental industry 
• Coordinate with Internal Audit for regular reviews and process improvements Team Leadership
 
Team Leadership
• Manage a team of accounting staff in San Antonio and future staff in DFW
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members 
• Foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
