We are now hiring for a Receiving Associate position for a Manufacturing company in San Marcos, TX. This position is starting ASAP. Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525. 

Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt and put away of materials and products in our manufacturing facility. While experience in receiving and put away is preferred, we are willing to provide training for candidates with a strong willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Inspection:
    • Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting items for damage.
    • Accurately record receipt of goods into the inventory management system.
  • Put away Process:
    • Organize and store received materials in designated locations, ensuring optimal space utilization.
    • Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Forklift Operation:
    • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of received goods and discrepancies.
    • Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, including production and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
