Parts Expeditor w/Strong Computer Skills + Excel

Temp to Hire

Pay Rate $15/hr. – $17/hr. DOE

Our client in Cypress, TX (Hwy 249 @ Hwy 99) is looking for a Expeditor with strong computer skills & Excel. Company specializes in rotating and reciprocating equipment repair including pumps, turbines, gearboxes, valves, and blowers. Pumping equipment is widely used in the oilfield, industrial gas, alternative fuel and petrochemical industries.

• The right candidate for this position will be energetic and have a passion for problem solving.

• The expeditor must be able to analyze work orders, determine what parts are needed and make sure they make it to our production area in a timely fashion.

• The candidate must have great communication skills and be able to professionally engage with all levels of staff.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or repair shop and a basic understanding of heavy mechanical equipment parts is required.

• During the temp period position will usually be 40 hours however upon fulltime hire, the candidate should be flexible to work OT / Weekends if needed.

Schedule:

• 6AM – 4:30PM Monday-Thursday OR 6AM-4:30PM Tuesday-Friday

• 30 minute lunch for both

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
